Farmer protest: Govt won't give compensation to deceased's families. Know why

Narendra Modi government has no record of the deaths of farmers during anti-farm laws protests that began last year and hence won't compensate their families, the Union Agricultural ministry said today in the Parliament. The government's statement is set to infuriate the agitating farmers who are demanding monetary relief for over 700 farmers' kin who died during the farm agitation. Opposition Congress has hit out at the government, saying it has insulted the farmers by not having data on their deaths. Watch this video for more.
