France Broke Rules To Stop Indians' Flight, Seal Them At Airport, Says Lawyer; Govt Frees Passengers

Four days after grounding a plane which was carrying hundreds of Indians, French authorities on December 24 decided to let the flight leave. The 300+ passengers had to stay in the waiting lounge of the Vatry airport where beds had been kept while French agencies investigated an anonymous tip-off that the plane was carrying victims or perpetrators of human trafficking. The plane is expected to fly to Mumbai with over 200 passengers. The exact number was not confirmed. The incident occurred just weeks before France President Emmanuel Macron visits India as Chief Guest for the January 26 Republic Day parade. Watch the full video for more.
