From Statue of Unity, Amit Shah attacks Cong on Sardar Patel's birth anniversary

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid floral tribute to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia. A parade was held in which Men's hockey team captain, Olympian Manpreet Singh participated. During his address, Shah said Sardar Patel's contributions were never given due respect. "Unfortunate attempts were made to forget Sardar Patel. After independence, his contributions were never given due respect. He was neither given Bharat Ratna nor proper respect,” said Shah.
