Months before Punjab goes to polls, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh tendered his resignation to the Governor, marking another twist in the tale of infighting in the ruling party Congress. After quitting, Singh said that he felt humiliated by the repeated meetings of MLAs called by the leadership which showed that there was doubt regarding his leadership. All eyes are now on Captain's challenger Navjot Singh Sidhu and how he leads the party in the upcoming elections.
