From selling flowers on streets with her father to becoming a scholar at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University, Sarita Mali's journey has been an inspiration. Coming from an OBC background, she battled caste complex, racism and poverty all her life but never gave up on her dreams. Sarita has now secured an admission in University of California and in an interview to the Hindustan Times, she narrates her journey and the difficulties she faced to reach where she is today.
