‘If someone hides…’: MP Home Minister justifies beating of Bangle seller

- Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra justified the thrashing of a bangles’ seller in Indore. The man was allegedly thrashed for selling bangles under a fake name. The attackers reportedly even accused the man of molesting women. Video of the mob thrashing the man – Taslim Ali – had gone viral on social media. The MP home minister justified the anger of people who thrashed the man. Mishra said that the people were angry because the man hid his identity at a Hindu festival. Mishra also said that the incident should not be given a communal colour.
