The troops from Indian and U.S. armies undertook thunderous jumps from a transport aircraft in Alaska amid the ongoing Yudh Abhyas 2023 exercise. They even conducted live fire drills, braving the cold at Fort Wainwright. The exercise to increase interoperability between the two troops kicked off from Sep 28 and involves a total of 350 personnel from the Indian Army, with the lead battalion affiliated with the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment.
