'Jail them:' 10 Hijab students in K'taka booked for violating prohibitory orders

- Amid on the ongoing Karnataka hijab row, FIR was registered against at least 10 girls for violating prohibitory orders by staging a protest over the hijab issue outside a college in Karnataka. The FIR was filed under Section 144 of the CrPC for the protest held outside Girls Empress Govt PU College, Tumkuru. On 17 January, police issued prohibitory orders in Hubballi-Dharwad within a 200-metre radius of all educational institutions. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday urged the Karnataka government to arrest those people who violate the court's interim order "whether it is Kesari or Hijab". Watch full video.
