Kangana ready to return Padma Shri 'if...': Actor asks 'which war in 1947'

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut defended herself after she was slammed over her “freedom” remark. The Manikarnika actor also offered to return her recently-received Padma Shri award if someone can enlighten her about events of 1947. Kangana also said she will return her Padma Shri if anyone can prove that she disrespected freedom fighters. During an event, Kangana described India’s Independence in 1947 as “bheek” or alms. Kangana said India attained real freedom in 2014 when PM Modi came to power. The actor faced backlash from politicians after her comments. AAP, Congress demanded that her Padma Shri should be taken back. Watch the full video for more details.
