- Muslim fruit-sellers were attacked outside a temple in Karnataka's Dharwad by the members of a right-wing Hindu group Sri Ram Sene. In a video that has gone viral, the right-wing vandals can be seen throwing watermelons on the road. According to reports, police officials were present at the spot but didn't intervene. The attack has been condemned by the temple priest and opposition in Karnataka. JDS leader and former CM HD Kumaraswamy likened the vandals to the terrorists and demanded strict action against the miscreants.
