Karnataka On The Boil: Muslim youth hacked to death after BJP worker’s killing

• Amid tension in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district over the killing of BJP youth wing leader two days ago, a 23-year-old Muslim man was hacked to death last night. The police have identified the victim as Mohammed Fazil. CCTV footage of the night shows masked men stepping out of the car and charging at Fazil. They then chase him and hack him to death outside a clothing store in Mangaluru’s Surathkal area. Officials maintained that the motive behind Fazil’s murder was immediately not clear.
