Kashmir: After NIA-CRPF-Police raid, activist Khurram Parvez arrested under UAPA

NIA has arrested prominent Jammu and Kashmir human rights activist Khurram Parvez in terror funding case and booked him under anti-terror UAPA law. Parvez was arrested last evening from Srinagar after NIA raided his office and residence and questioned him for hours. Parvez is the chairperson of Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances and programme coordinator of Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society that documents rights' abuses. International rights' bodies and United Nations have condemned the arrest of Khurram Parvez and sought his immediate release. Watch this report for more.
