'Kashmiri Pandits feeling more secure': Govt ahead of 2nd anniv of 370 dilution

Ahead of the second anniversary of Article 370 abrogation, Narendra Modi government at centre has claimed that Kashmir pandits working and residing in Valley have felt more secure than past. In reply to a question of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, Ministry of Home Affairs has said that 3,841 migrant youths have moved back to Kashmir and have taken up jobs in various districts under Prime Minister’s rehabilitation package. It added that as many as 26,684 Kashmiri youths have shown interest for going back to the valley by applying for 1,997. The MHA also informed that approximately 900 Kashmiri Pandits and Dogra Hindu families were currently residing in Kashmir and steps have been taken to protect the minorities.
