Lakhimpur: Union Minister's son skips police summons; SC pulls up UP govt

After Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son skipped summons, the Supreme Court in its hearing of the Lakhimpur Kheri incident said that it was not satisfied with Yogi government’s actions taken so far. It also asked the state to look for an alternative agency for a better investigation. Ashish Mishra, the main accused, failed to appear before police on Friday at 10 AM. He was summoned to present himself before the Crime Branch of Lakhimpur police. On Thursday, the police pasted summon notice outside MoS Ajay Mishra’s residence. Watch the full video for more.
