Severe flash floods have struck Nepal’s Himalayan border region, leaving several people dead and hundreds missing as rescue teams search devastated areas for survivors. The flooding swept through settlements near the Tibet border, carrying mud and debris and damaging homes, roads, bridges and power infrastructure. More than 100 Indians, around 90 Nepalis, at least three Americans and over 10 British nationals were reportedly among those missing.
