In a major breakthrough for India’s security agencies, the Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a top operative of Lashkar-e-Taiba, identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone, in connection with the recent metro poster case in the national capital. According to officials, Lone was allegedly leading a terror module responsible for defacing walls of metro stations, including Janpath Metro Station, with pro-terror posters in February. These posters reportedly glorified slain militant Burhan Wani and carried anti-India slogans, raising serious security concerns.
