In a landmark moment for India’s governance infrastructure, Narendra Modi inaugurated the Seva Teerth Complex on Friday, marking a significant shift in the country’s administrative architecture. The newly built complex will now house the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council Secretariat, and the Cabinet Secretariat, bringing key decision-making hubs under one roof. In a symbolic move, the PM unveiled the plaque of Seva Teerth, as the PMO prepares to shift from the historic South Block on Raisina Hill to its new home. Under the broader vision of moving away from colonial-era symbols, the Central Secretariat buildings have been renamed Kartavya Bhawan, reinforcing the government’s focus on duty-driven governance.
