Rajiv Gandhi death anniversary: Rahul, Priyanka, Kejriwal & others pay tributes

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid tributes to his late father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 30th death anniversary. Rahul visited Veer Bhoomi in New Delhi and paid floral tributes. Rajiv Gandhi was India's Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989. He had assumed office after his mother PM Indira Gandhi's assassination. Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated on 21 May 1991 in Tamil Nadu during a suicide bomb attack. Several politicians including Arvind Kejriwal, Capt Amarinder Singh & BV Srinivas paid their tributes to the late Prime Minister.
