- Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar lost his verified badge on Twitter. The badge was later restored within hours. The removal of the blue verification badge was attributed to Twitter’s service rules. As per Twitter’s policy, the badge is removed if an account holder changes the name. Chandrasekhar was earlier using the username @rajeev_mp. He changed his username to @Rajeev_GoI after he was inducted into the Union Council of Ministers. Watch the full video for more details.
