U.S sanctions Indian firm for trade with Iran amid tussle over nuke work

- No end to the U.S. & Iran tussle amid tensions over nuke programme. The U.S has now sanctioned global network of companies, including India-based firm, for role in Iran's petrochemical trade. U.S treasury department said these punitive measures are to target those 'helping Iran'. U.S claims several companies in the UAE, Hong Kong & India have facilitated financial transfers and shipping of iranian petrochemical products. The move comes as Iran continues to accelerate its nuclear programme in violation of the joint comprehensive plan of action (JCPOA) as alleged by the U.S. Watch this report for more.
