- The Indian Army hoisted a 76-ft-tall National flag in Ladakh overlooking the Hanle valley at 15,000 ft. The fire and fury corps of the Indian Army hoisted the flag and shared a video. In the video, two groups of soldiers can be seen saluting the Indian national flag. The flag was constructed by the Indian army and the flag foundation of India. The hoisting of the flag was part of the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, said the Indian army. Army has held several events in the region to commemorate India’s 75 years of independence.
