President of the Tibetan government-in-exile, also called the Central Tibetan Administration, appealed to China to let spiritual leader Dalai Lama visit the country. The monk, who turned 86 years old on July 6, has expressed a wish to do the Wutai Shan pilgrimage in China, and also visit his birthplace Lhasa.
