Pak drone terror threat foiled; J&K police defuse three IEDs dropped in Jammu

- The Jammu and Kashmir police shot at a Pakistani drone in Jammu last night and recovered three Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) from the spot. The drone was first spotted by the BSF near the Pakistan border at Kanachak area in Jammu. The police team was then informed, which opened fire at the drone. The Pak drone managed to flee before dropping a payload that contained 3 magnetic/sticky IEDs, packed inside a tiffin box with the timer set to different timings of 3 hours, 8 hours etc. The IED has been deactivated and diffused through controlled explosion.
