PM Modi rips into Priyanka & Channi for insulting people of UP and Bihar

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lashed out at Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. A day after a video of Channi saying that Punjab won't allow UP, Bihar ke Bhaiye to rule the state in Priyanka's presence went viral, PM Modi sniped back at the duo saying that they had insulted the legacy of Guru Gobind Singh and Sant Ravidas. The PM said, “Was Sant Ravidasji born in Punjab? He was born in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi and you [Channi] say that you won’t let UP’s people enter Punjab. Will you drive out Sant Ravidas as well? Will you erase his name?” He also went on to say that Congress has always betrayed the people by creating a divide in the regions. The chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar also attacked Channi and said that the true face of Congress has now been revealed ahead of the assembly polls in Punjab.
