Punjab Polls: Why Channi may not return as CM | 74 swing seats explained

- As Punjab gears up for results of the assembly elections on March 10, there are 74 swing seats in the state that decide who will be the next chief minister of the state. It is also known that political loyalty in nearly 63% of the seats keeps changing election after election. These 47 seats in the past have voted out the incumbent and given an anti-incumbent mandate. A majority of such seats, 47 in all, are located in the politically significant Malwa region. Punjab may also witness a fractured mandate as the Dalit and Hindu-majority seats may have voted in Charanjit Singh Channi's favour. Watch this video for more details.
