Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi targeted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, demanding his resignation and alleging that he was acting under pressure from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Gandhi said the opposition was seeking accountability from those he alleged were behind the actions of the Election Commission.
