China’s Tiangong Ultra humanoid robot has set a stunning new 100-metre record of 8.86 seconds at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, beating Usain Bolt’s 9.58-second human world record. The robot then crashed into a padded barrier after crossing the finish line.
