'Scared’ Pakistan denies attacking Houthis on TV; is Islamabad trying to avoid a Yemen showdown?

Pakistan says its forces in Saudi Arabia are there for defensive purposes and will not cross into Yemen to attack the Houthis. Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for Saudi sovereignty and security, while Pakistan separately rejected a New York Times report alleging that Pakistani fighter jets were conducting strikes against Houthi targets.
