‘Adarsh Nari expected to be Adarsh victim’: Lawyers on Goa court’s Tejpal order

Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal was acquitted by Goa court in a 2013 rape case. Tejpal’s acquittal sparked outrage and the Goa government challenged the verdict. “The whole discourse of the judgment appears to be as if there is an attempt to rip apart the testimony of the prosecutor,” senior advocate Pinky Anand said. “Adarsh Nari is expected to be the Adarsh victim,” adds senior advocate Karuna Nundy.
