Dr Prathap C Reddy built India’s first private, corporate hospital, 40 years ago - the Apollo in Chennai. Now, as he turns 90, he looks back on a legacy that comprises over 70 hospitals, more than 10,000 beds and 400 clinics across India’s largest cities, with additional teaching facilities, and tie-ups with partner hospitals overseas.
