Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu talks about the story behind her earrings. In conversation with Hindustan Times’ Kumkum Chadha, Chanu reveals how her mother supported her after the Rio Olympics of 2016. Chanu said, “when I started training, I wanted to keep the Olympics rings with me. My mother gave me earrings and told me to get motivation from the earrings.” Watch the full video for more details.
