Actor Ram Charan, who has been a superstar in Telugu cinema, and is now enjoying global fame after his pan-India film RRR became a phenomenal success, talks to HT City Sr. Entertainment Editor, Monika Rawal about films, food, OTT, remakes, and collaborating again with filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The actor urges his fellow colleagues in the film industry to get rid of labels like Bollywood and Tollywood and instead make it Indian cinema. He further comments on the trend of Hindi remakes of regional films and says that this model isn't here to stay for long because once the audiences have watched the original on OTT platforms, it does affect the business of the remake.
