Why Tokyo 2020 may be India's best Olympics ever

• Delayed due to the pandemic, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 began in Japan on July 23. This is the first Olympics happening in an odd-numbered year but the official name is still Tokyo 2020. Games, happening amid pandemic, had sparked controversy too with Tokyo being in the middle of the emergency. Some Covid-19 cases have also been detected in the Games Village. Hindustan Times Editor-in-chief Sukumar Ranganathan talks about whether the Olympic Games should happen amid the pandemic or not. From an Indian perspective, this could be a watershed moment.
