Spain After France, Italy: Clashes Erupt in A Coruña | Hindustan Times

Clashes erupted in A Coruña, northwestern Spain, after a rally by Santiago Abascal, leader of the right-wing Vox party, triggered anti-fascist protests. Demonstrators marched through the streets as riot police confronted crowds amid burning barricades, fireworks and overturned rubbish bins. Local media reported around 2,500 people joined an evening march, where fresh violence broke out. Authorities said two people were arrested on suspicion of public disorder and offences against police officers. At least 12 officers were injured, with protesters and journalists also reportedly hurt. Officials defended the police response, while protest organisers accused officers of using excessive force.
