Tigress Tara feeds newborn cubs; First tiger birth in the Mysuru zoo in 9 years

Tiger cubs born at the Mysuru Zoo, authorities & the people taking care of the big cat ecstatic. Tara, a white tigress, gave birth to three cubs and is feeding the younger ones, being closely monitored by veterinarians. The Mysuru zoo reportedly houses nine tigers, seven tigresses, and three cubs. After decades of dedicated conservation efforts, the tiger population in India has increased steadily. As per the 4-year tiger census report released by PM Modi, the tiger population in India rose by 33% (2014-18).
