India’s first-ever Sabre Fencer to compete in Olympics, CA Bhavani Devi spoke to Hindustan Times’ Avishek Roy as her journey in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 came to an end. Bhavani Devi won her first match against Tunisia’s Nadia Ben Azizi but lost her second match to Rio Olympics semi-finalist and World No. 3 French Fencer Manon Brunet. Devi created history as she took Indian Sabre Fencing to world stage.
