Trump Says October 7 Attackers Are Paying A ‘Very Big Price’ As Israel Marks Anniversary

President Donald Trump said those responsible for the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel are paying a “very big price” as the country marked the third anniversary of the Hamas-led assault. Trump said he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and offered his wishes to the Israeli people on the anniversary. His comments came as Israelis gathered across the country to remember those killed and taken hostage during the attack. The anniversary remains deeply significant in Israel, while the war that followed has reshaped the wider Middle East and continues to have major regional and international consequences.
