Brian Hook, Donald Trump’s special envoy for Iran during his first term at the Oval Office, revealed on November 7 that the US President-elect has “no interest in regime change” in Tehran. He, however, also claimed that Trump does seek to isolate and weaken Iran. Hook further said, "Trump understands that the chief driver of instability in today’s Middle East is the Iranian regime."
