Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his displeasure on the announcement of India-Middle East-Europe Corridor which bypasses Ankara. “We say that there is no corridor without Turkey. Turkey is an important production and trade base. The most convenient line for traffic from east to west has to pass through Turkey,” Erdogan told journalists during the G20 summit in India where the project was announced by the leaders of India, US, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other G20 partners.
