US President Donald Trump announced on March 21, the 6th-generation fighter jet that will be called F-47 and will be manufactured by aviation giant Boeing. The next-gen fighter will replace F-22 Raptor, which was the world’s first fifth-generation fighter jet. Trump made the announcement in the presence of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Air Force Chief Gen. David Allvin, both of whom provided further insight into the fighter jet.
