United States Navy pilot killed in Super Hornet fighter jet crash near China Lake, no civilians harmed. Last October, a navy Super Hornet from naval air station China Lake crashed. In 2020, another Super Hornet naval fighter from Lemoore air station went down. In 2019, a navy Super Hornet crashed in Death Valley national park during a routine training mission.
