The United States has reportedly warned India after allegedly foiling an assassination bid against Khalistani radical Gurpatwant Singh Pannun – a designated terrorist in India. The Financial Times in its report has claimed that the U.S. expressed its concerns to India over its possible involvement in conspiring to kill Pannun who heads the radical Sikh outfit Sikhs For Justice which seeks secession of Punjab as an independent Khalistan state, and has been banned in India. India has not yet responded to the claims in the FT report.
