U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released footage showing American forces disabling the Mozambique-flagged tanker M/T Lavine after its crew allegedly attempted to breach a maritime blockade despite repeated warnings in the Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM said the operation took place on July 24 and also shared video of a verification boarding of the Comoros-flagged tanker M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea. The incident highlights ongoing maritime security operations in the region amid heightened tensions involving Iran and international shipping routes. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the vessels, cargo, or any reported injuries. INTERNATIONAL NEWS
