What PM Modi Told Jaishankar When Russia-Ukraine War Broke Out: External Affairs Minister Reveals

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar revealed what Prime Minister Modi told officials when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Jaishankar said that when many developed nations had abandoned their citizens amid the war, PM Modi instructed his ministers to do whatever is needed to ensure the safe return of Indian citizens and students. Jaishankar revealed that India operated 90 evacuation flights and five ministers were sent to coordinate & supervise the evacuations. The external affairs minister also revealed how the West tried to put pressure on India over buying Russian oil.
