#ElectionsWithHT: Battle for west Uttar Pradesh heats up in Jat-Muslim belt

- The fight for political supremacy in the Hindi heartland of Uttar Pradesh will begin in the western part of the state. This region, considered one of the most politically sensitive, charged and highly polarised areas, will vote in the initial phase of the election. In the previous Assembly election, the ruling BJP did well in this region. The BJP won 66 while the Samajwadi Party clinched four, the Bahujan Samaj Party won three, the Congress won two and the Rashtriya Lok Dal laid its hands on one. Watch this video for more.
