Why was Wangchuk forcibly taken to hospital by Delhi police? CJP reveals the truth, police says...

Tensions escalated at Delhi's Jantar Mantar after Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke accused the Delhi Police of forcibly removing climate activist Sonam Wangchuk from the protest site and cracking down on demonstrators. Delhi Police, however, said Wangchuk was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital in compliance with directions from the Delhi High Court and on medical advice after his health deteriorated during his 21-day indefinite hunger strike. The hospital later said Wangchuk was weak due to fasting and dehydration but was "currently stable." Following the incident, Dipke announced an indefinite hunger strike, while the CJP alleged that protesters were lathicharged and that Wangchuk was taken away by force. Police denied Dipke's claim that he was beaten and detained.
