- Just hours before Winter Olympics 2022 kicked off in Beijing, Tibetans living in Delhi staged a massive protest. Burning Chinese flags outside the Chinese embassy in the national capital and raising slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', Tibetans marched in protest of the human rights violation in China. Earlier, a drama was staged by the activists for Students for Free Tibet in Dharamshala, where they termed the Olympics 'Genocide 2022'. The protests in India were a part of a global movement calling out China for its atrocities in Uyghurs. Similar protests were witnessed in Los Angeles in the United States and Lausanne in Switzerland a day before. Watch for more details.
