Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar delivered a strong message on terrorism at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Russia, stressing that there can be "no whitewashing, no excuses" for terrorism and calling for zero tolerance in all its forms. His remarks, made just days after the Red Fort car blast in Delhi was classified as a terror attack, underscored India's demand for uncompromising, collective action by the SCO and the global community. Jaishankar highlighted India’s right to defend itself against terror threats and called for shared global responsibility, reiterating New Delhi’s stance that justifications or selective blindness on terrorism cannot be accepted.
