Bangladesh: After Hasina, Chief Justice Forced To Resign As Protesters Gherao Supreme Court | Hassan

Bangladesh Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has resigned amid violent protests, as per Reuters. Hundreds of protesters on August 10 surrounded the Supreme Court premises in Dhaka and issued an ultimatum to Chief Justice to resign within an hour. Hassan was appointed as Chief Justice last year and is seen as a loyalist to Sheikh Hasina. Watch for more.
