Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has accused Israel of delaying the next phase of the Gaza peace roadmap, claiming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is obstructing efforts toward a lasting agreement. Speaking in Ankara, Fidan said Israel’s actions undermine plans involving a ceasefire, Israeli withdrawal, Palestinian governance, and international stabilization efforts. He also criticized Israeli policies in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem while calling for reconstruction and diplomatic action from the international community. The remarks come amid ongoing tensions over the implementation of the proposed peace framework and competing claims from regional actors over the future of Gaza.
